Safety Glove Sizing Guide

Glove size is set by hand circumference and hand length, measured to EN ISO 21420. Wrap a tape around the palm at the widest point, excluding the thumb, then measure from the wrist crease to the tip of the middle finger.

A glove that is too large slips and reduces grip, and one that is too small tires the hand and can split at the seams. Where a measurement falls between two sizes, the larger size is usually the better choice for extended wear.

Fit varies slightly by construction. Coated knitted gloves sit closer to the hand than leather welding gloves, which are cut loose so they can be removed quickly.

Measure the dominant hand, as it is often slightly larger, and take the measurement at the end of a shift when the hands are at their fullest. Sizes across the Granberg range follow the same European numbering, so a size 9 in a coated knit will correspond closely to a size 9 in a chemical or winter model.
